Wright Performers Shine at District Wide All-City Event

Wright Performers Shine at District Wide All-City Event
The Wright Performers from Charles Wright Academy of Arts & Science delivered an outstanding performance at the Detroit Public Theatre on February 9, 2026, from 6:30–8:00 p.m. The students proudly represented the school as part of the District Wide All-City Event, captivating the audience with their powerful acting and dynamic dancing.
A special highlight of the performance was the original script written by Lexie O’Neal, a talented 6th-grade Wright Performer. With the guidance and support of Mrs. Angelita Davis and Mrs. Carolyn Yisrael, Lexie helped bring an inspiring and engaging production to life.
